This blog is dedicated to secondary school students taking Chemistry. I hope that through the use of the resources here, you will be able you to study for the examination quickly and effectively.
Comments on how to improve the site are welcomed.
Good luck for your examinations!
In this post, I will be sharing with you an example of a mind map for the chapters on alkanes, alkenes, alcohols and carboxylic acid reactions for O level chemistry. You may be wondering why I start the mind map with ethene. Alkenes have the most number of reactions for O level organic chemistry. Hence, you can easily branch out and cover most of the other reactions.
I have created the mind map in such a way to include blanks, so that this would be a good test for you on organic reactions as well.
For the mind map below, fill in the organic product/ reactant in the blue boxes, and the reagents and conditions in the green box. Answers to this mindmap will be posted in the next post.
